United were poor against BayernGot knocked out of EuropeYorke slammed United squad for lack of intentWHAT HAPPENED?
It was another lacklustre display from Ten Hag's troops on Tuesday evening against Bayern Munich, and the Bavarian giants made them pay by knocking them out of the Champions League. Harry Kane marked his return to England with an assist as Kingsley Coman scored the only goal in the 70th minute to seal a slender 1-0 win over the Red Devils. Antony was once again subdued in the right flank while Rasmus Hojlund was cut a frustrated figure up front in the lack of quality service from his midfielders.
In the aftermath of the defeat, Yorke unleashed a scathing attack on the Red Devils squad and came down heavily on the Brazilian winger questioning his £85 million price tag as he is yet to score or assist this season after playing over 1000 minutes of football.

Speaking toInstantCasino.com,Yorke said: "People must be having a laugh if they're praising Antony for putting in some decent performances – he was £85 million. Everybody is entitled to their opinion, but we need to be frank – Anthony just hasn't been good enough. It's all well and good producing the occasional decent performance, but that shouldn't be an acceptable benchmark at Man United. I appreciate that every player needs time to settle in, but Antony is another player who needs to man up. He needs to blitz down that right-hand side, cut in, assist, and score goals – that's what they paid £85 million for. The discussion around Antony becoming an OK footballer is nonsense. He cost £85 million. He has to be better than that."

Yorke backed Erik ten Hag's decision to exile Jadon Sancho and argued that the England international should be allowed nowhere near the first team "if he's a bad influence."
"Sancho shouldn't be anywhere near the first team and he shouldn't mingle with the first team. I wouldn't allow it if I were in charge," he added. "Man United are going through a tough spell right now, and they shouldn't have to deal with the Sancho situation on top of it. The manager has to sort those situations out and he needs to do what he needs to do to make sure he saves his own back and is not embarrassed. If that's the case with Sancho, then I'd get rid of him and keep him away from the dressing room. I wouldn't want him there if he's still pals with the players who are in my squad. Players can be friends with whoever they want to be outside of the training ground, but if I'm trying to get the best out of my squad, then I wouldn't want him around.
"The club needs to sort this out one way or another. It'll continue to manifest if nothing is done as Sancho will still be mates with some players. However, results like the Bournemouth one will put so much pressure on the squad, and Sancho shouldn't be there if he's a bad influence. I would manage that situation differently. I have been a player and I know how things work in the dressing room. Those players will be laughing and joking with Sancho every day – I used to do that when I was a player. Situations like this aren't good for morale, though. The players will be trying their best to get results, but Sancho will be strolling through life. That's just how I see it."

After getting ousted from Europe, United will completely focus on the domestic competitions – the Premier League and the FA Cup. They were thrashed 3-0 by Bournemouth last weekend which saw them slip to sixth position in the league table just one point ahead of Newcastle United. Ten Hag's men face a stern test on the road ahead as they will take on Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
