Al-Hilal forward Neymar has promised he "won't stop here" after winning a special honour at the Globe Soccer Awards.

The 32-year-old was named as one of three winners of the Player Career Award 2024, alongside former England defender Rio Ferdinand and Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. After receiving that gong, the Brazilian took to social media to say his name is "written in football history" and he has more to give in the game.

The Instagram post translates to: "I would like to thank my family, my friends, my teammates, my coaches, and my fans. Very happy for the recognition, to have my name written in soccer history is truly incredible!!! Neymar's career appears to be on the decline after moving from Paris Saint-Germain to Al-Hilal in 2023, recovering from a serious knee injury and his contract expires at the Saudi team next year. But he is Brazil's all-time top scorer and could still have a successful final few years in football.
