Tottenham writer Marc Benamram claims Danny Rose will definitely leave Spurs this summer, and fans are furious about the prospect of selling to their rivals.
It’s been looking more and more likely all season than Danny Rose would eventually get his wish and leave North London this summer, and now Benamram reports that it is “inevitable” the left back will leave.
According to the report, both Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in the England left back, and fans are not happy about the idea of selling directly to a rival.
Tottenham fell short of silverware yet again this season when they were beaten at Wembley by Manchester United, and fans are yearning for their club to really put themselves amongst the big boys.

Of course, doing well in the league can only get you so far if you sell great players to your rivals, which seems to be what is irking supporters more than the actual loss of the player.
Rose has been slowly but surely forced out of the team by the impressive form of Welshman Ben Davies, but fans want to see their club competing with the likes of Manchester United for players, not selling their own to them.
Luke Shaw has been mentioned as a possible replacement, but even so fans are not too happy about the idea of losing Rose to Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge.
