Under the floodlights at Easter Road last night, Hibernian extended their wonderful Scottish Cup record against Edinburgh rivals Heart of Midlothian and made it through to the next round of a competition that no longer represents such a hoodoo for the Cabbage and Ribs.
While the visiting Hearts were hugely disappointing, those in green and white reacted well to the public slating manager Neil Lennon gave them over the weekend and delighted all of those in the Leith San Siro with a resounding 3-1 victory over the Jambos.

Leith Walk will have been full of celebration last night and Hibs stars past and present have taken to Twitter to express their delight at the fact the Scottish Cup holders kept their dream of two in a row alive.
