Sane joined Bayern from Manchester City in 2020 for €49 million (£41m/$53m) and made 223 appearances for the German champions, scoring 61 goals and providing 55 assists. Despite an inconsistent 2024-25 season where he managed 13 goals and six assists in 48 appearances, he remained a part of Vincent Kompany's plans until the Club World Cup. Before he goes, though, the 29-year-old winger hoped to enjoy his last evening with his fellow Bundesliga champions.
WHAT SANE SAID
Speaking to the media, Sane said: "They're great guys, great players, and the whole staff around them is too. I've really enjoyed it here. I'll miss the team. I just want to spend the evening with the guys, have a good time."
