Southampton supporters had something to celebrate on transfer deadline day when Italian striker Manolo Gabbiadini joined the club from Napoli, but they remain concerned about one area on the pitch.
Claude Puel’s side have been short of forward options due to Charlie Austin’s injury absence, but now they have a man to fill in.
The 25-year-old is a free-kick specialist, and according numerous reports, including BBC Sport, the Saints forked out £14m to sign him.
The Saints could have done with him on Tuesday night when they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

Gabbiadini dropped down the pecking order at Napoli in the last few months, failing to earn a starting spot since November.
The player is also versatile in the final third as he can play up front, but can also act as a winger when required.
After hearing the news of Gabbiadini’s arrival, Southampton fans took to Twitter to give their thoughts, and the majority of them were positive.
However, there was also concern about the club failing to sign a replacement for defender Jose Fonte, who joined West Ham United earlier this month.
